Imerse yourself in the essence of artist Scott Finch and his work.
 Peruse art books and the literature that inspires and influences his work.
Gain a better understanding of how this incredible Louisiana artist
 sees and experiences the world.

His cottage is cleverly appointed with not only his original work
but also unique finds that mirror his tastes.

Scott’s palette is bright and bold: neons, reds, oranges.
 His images are sweet with a touch of nostalgia, and very contemporary.
His references of pop culture offer both blatant critique
and subtle homage to the banal of our culture.
 He makes associations through the juxtaposition of imagery - a discourse
of deeper issues coming from the combination
of seemingly superficial images: Adam Lambert, prepackaged foods, amateur photos.

Scott Finch has been featured by the Critic's Choice Exhibition
at the Dallas Visual Art Center, the Fleisher Art Challenge
at the Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia,
 and the Gulf South Regional Artists Exhibition
 at Bridge for Contemporary Art in New Orleans.

His professional experience includes:
 East Baton Rouge Parish School System, Talented Visual Artist;
 Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, Adjunct Faculty;
 Baton Rouge Community College, Baton Rouge, Adjunct Faculty;
Texas Sculpture Association, Dallas, Executive Director..
